The ideas that I have come up with for my genealogy project are as follows:
1) The typewriter and how it has evolved to a computer. The computer mocks the keyboard of the typewriter, but also allows us to experience the internet. As the years went on the computers became thinner and smaller and sooner or later the computer then evolved into a cellphone. A phone in the twenty-first century allows us to perform a majority of the tasks you could do on a computer on a device that fits in your hand and you can take anywhere you go. 
2) The clothes people wear, the way we do our hair, and the way they present themselves and how they evolved, but then eventually some styles cycle back. Will women keep dressing more risqué every generation or will they begin to tone it down and dress as conservative as they did back in the 1950's.  For example, styles that were in the 80's seem to come back into the 21st century. Also I will write about how we can expect styles that we wear now in the 21st century will more than likely show back up again in future generations. Such as, colored pants or leggings and how we wear them to work out now just like they did in the 80's. 
3) The way we speak in general and the phrases that were used in past generations and phrases that are used in generations now and how they connect to each other and mean the same thing. I will list multiple examples about phrases and compare them to one another. Such as, someone from a past generation like our grandmas, saying "icebox" and in generations now we say, "freezer" or calling a grocery cart a "buggy" rather than just calling it a grocery cart. The meaning of the words is all the same, but different when sayings.
