Blog post #5

As I looked over my essay and brained stormed ideas for a remediation of my project I became attracted to the audience of older elementary school kids.  I also believe my essay could be remediated and the audiences like owl enthusiasts, and the older generation who are open to more new information seeing how they have much more time on their hands.
If I chose the older elementary school children (grades 5-6) I would remediate my paper and create it into a form in which it is beneficial for their education. Because my paper has references to the owl in many different cultures, I could take advantage of that information and utilize it as a teaching tool for the students.  I came up with the idea of creating a series of entertaining and hands-on activities, much like a kids menu at a restaurant.  This will engage the young students and will push them to learn something new while having fun.  If the students are having fun wile doing their work, the information is more likely to stick with them and they have the opportunity of enjoying about what they were learning.  I want to create a crossword puzzle and many more interactive games, with the sole purpose to teach the kid about the important role of the owl in so many of the cultures.

Both of the other audiences would also enjoy the same concept but not as basic, with deeper understanding compared to the level presented to the older elementary group.  For example, crossword puzzles containing information depicted in my essay used as a form of enrichment of knowledge.
