Blog Post #5

Due to the nature of the topic chosen for my genealogy, it is not suitable to present this to just any kind of audience. I believe that a suitable way to approach the idea of the genealogy, is to convert the topic to relating to an overall view of femininity through the American society; by doing this, it can appeal to women, men and adolescents alike. I believe that using a kind of media that can show sequence would be helpful to achieve the purpose of the exploration. A powerpoint, or any photo slide show would work in depicting the evolution of the idea of femininity. This method would work best for men who need to have an engaging experience while learning, probably a small discussion to accompany the slide show would be beneficial to all parties involved. Women would most likely prefer an advertisement shown in passing, this would capture their attention but not require much synthesis of ideas. Using this idea for product development and promotion would case high demand for whatever product being introduced. For teenagers, a less invasive form of media would be required to hold their attention for just the required amount of time, so as to not lose focus. Possibly embedding this idea within a film or television series would result in the largest amount of interest from the youth. Channeling the entire thing towards the “feminist” subculture would probably result in the most interest being that this is a topic of much interest to them.
