blog post #5

My first audience for my remediation would be film critics. My genealogy is the telling of a formula that has been used numerous times in films relating to lovers. They begin with meeting, then falling in love against their better wishes and then have an argument or fight that causes them to temporarily break up but when they realize they can't be without each other their faith stops one or both of them with death. Thus, causing them to be star-crossed lovers. Film critics would have also picked up on this formula that Hollywood spits out and  has either praised or critiqued it for its lack of originality. I would show the critics the beginning of the formula and how it was created, then I would show them other movies that have altered the formula to try and create their own version of it.
My second audience would be movie watchers who tend to see romance films. This audience would go perfectly to my genealogy since my paper relates to romantic movies. I would begin by showing the movie goers a collage of all the movies in my paper and show the similarities they have but also show how they each have their own distinctions.
My 3rd and final audience would be someone who is skeptical about romance films and think they are all the same thing. To try and refute their claim I would also show them a presentation on the films in my paper and how they are each yes the same genre, but each build off and create their own aspects of the typical romance film.
