My first idea involves targeting a
young audience, from the ages of 7-10. I would mimic the “Guess Who” board game
and make a Frankenstein edition of it. The characters of the board game would
be different versions of Frankenstein seen throughout books and movies. Each
player would give clues about the characteristics of the character and
different scenarios the character encountered in order for the opponent to “guess
who”. Also, I would include several characters seen throughout the renditions
of Frankenstein to broaden the playing field.
My next idea targets an audience
from the ages of 14-30, who are interested in horror movies. I would create a
movie trailer for Hollywood’s latest horror movie, “Frankenstein”. The trailer
would be a mashup of several Frankenstein movie scenes seen throughout history
to tell the plot of the movie. In order to feature the book, I would include
quotes from Shelley, staging her as a critic in the trailer.
My last idea targets an older
audience, from the ages of 35-60. The idea involves interviewing Mary Shelley,
the creator of the Frankenstein story. In this “Back from the Dead” interview,
Shelley would tell of her experience writing the novel and reactions she
received once it was published. Also, Shelley would be questioned about her
opinion on the latest renditions of Frankenstein and what she may have done
differently. To give the interview an ironically spooky vibe, the show the
interview is broadcasted on would be monster themed and would feature Shelley,
the guest star, as a zombie.
